The Justin Veatch Fund recognizes the teaching of music and art as a critical component of a child’s education. The goal of The Fund’s developing programs is to reach out to young performing artists and to provide them with opportunities to collaborate with and to be challenged by a network of like-minded peers and professionals. Our parallel goal is to advise teens and young adults on the perils of substance abuse.

n7152366447_821593_4600Our first annual scholarship was awarded on June 3, 2009 at Senior Awards Night at Yorktown High School. Since that year we have awarded 16 $1,000 scholarships  expanding to four annual awards in June, 2015. We have also expanded eligibility for the scholarships to graduating seniors at high schools within a 25-mile radius of Yorktown, NY.
